HAHAH.
You are NOT the first to ask.
Bad Habit!
My Editor hates it.
I just want to make sure you SEE what I want you to see and not get lost in all the words.

i love this. spot on. i was at your worship gathering on june 13th and was very impressed at how friendly and welcoming everyone was. my purpose was to help set up and serve, yet so many folks that were there came up to me and welcomed me. it was awesome. ironically, i was not at the top of my game and ended up in the hospital the next day, but my point is that the folks at soul city, the starters, were definately owning the experience. i can see that as things progress, soul city will be a force to be reckoned with...and thats an awesome thing:)

"No one can have authentic influence, especially an Authentic Cultural Influence, if they are attempting to lead others in a direction that they themselves have not chosen to go towards."

AMEN!

I so get this. I'm in a season of life right now where in three weeks I'll be walking away from my church, from what most would see as a "dream job" and into the unknown. I'm walking because God is saying "go." He is calling me away from comfort, away from "safe" and to trust and dependence. For the first time in my life He is pushing me to fully surrender to Him. Wow! That's a scary thought. But it is also incredibly exciting. I feel God working in my heart a desire to awaken what I often see as a dead "safe" church here in America. But, before He can use me, He needs to wake me up. And thus the journey begins. I'm reminded of a quote that says something to the fact of sometimes God has to work in us before He can work through us. Sometimes He has to teach us the lesson before He can use us to lead others.
