The Value of 7 is greater than 1

(Part of an ongoing series of posts about the Values of Soul City Church)

At Soul City Church, we believe that 7 days of the week have much greater potential than just 1. Far too many people limit their idea of church to a service they attend or a building that they visit 1 day a week.  1 day is good, but 7 is better.  We long for the church to have a unique incarnational impact in our neighborhood 7 days a week. Our hope is that the city rejoices over our presence and partnership in bringing renewal and restoration wherever we go.  That’s how you transform Neighborhoods.  That’s how you transform Cities.  That’s how you change the World - 7 days a week.

  • Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans.  Fight for the rights of widows.

Discussion :: Who is doing this well?  Who is getting beyond a once a week visit to a building and truly being a part of God’s Transformational work in their neighborhood?

    Thanks Jesse. We appriciate your support and enthusiasm. This is just one of those things that we can't imagine NOT doing in the city.

    BTW – I love that you can tell the church around the world what to do and they actually listen. that's influence.
